Cut Flowers for Care Centers
This fun and satisfying project encourages us to share our flower bounty with those who reside in care centers so they can enjoy the beauty. The project’s purpose is simple: to bring happiness to others. For this activity, flower bouquets must go to a facility (rather than an individual at home) so more people can enjoy them! We give bouquets to local care centers, including:
Clearview, Juneau
Christian Home, Waupun
Eagles Wings, Beaver Dam
Crossroads Care Center, Mayville
Prairie Ridge Assisted Living Center, Beaver Dam and Waupun
The Marquardt, Watertown
Sharing flower bouquets include flowers like daffodils, tulips, poppies, and peonies; continues through the summer with sharing hydrangea, coneflowers, daisies, anise hyssop, turtlehead, coreopsis, cosmos, and phlox; and culminates with fall bouquets made up of flowers such as zinnias, sunflowers, asters, and dahlias. Flower arrangements are shared during different Dodge County Master Gardener presentations such as at SPARK and Prairie Ridge Assisted Living Center
